    Description

    Item consists of a glass domed button ( or buckle) possible brass backing with a picture of Nancy Hanks and driver inside. Has a decorative triangular design to the edge, In fair condition. Underneath the picture has the words Nancy Hanks Record 2.04. Measures approx 1 3/4" across (I believe this was the fastest record in 1892 Terre Haute, Indiana) - no idea of original use of the button unless used for decorative strap purposes? A Very unusual item with age.  Not sure what the other pieces are for but everything is included. Feel free to ask questions before bidding.
