A.P. Indy’s breeding could not get any better, he was racing royalty.
Foaled at Lane’s End farm, he returned to Lane’s End upon the completion of his racing career where stood his entire stallion career.
A.P. Indy was pensioned in 2011.
A.P. Indy had a stellar yet short racing career   His major races wins were the 1992 Breeders’ Cup Classic, the 1992 Belmont Stakes, the 1992 Peter Pan Stakes and the 1992 Santa Anita Derby.
His Major progeny:
Bernardini, Mineshaft, Rags to Riches, Honor Code
A.P. Indy was twice leading sire.   In 2015, he was named leading broodmare sire
As of 2020, he has twenty nine sons standing at stud.
