    Description

    This is the Feb. 8, 1978 Thoroughbred Record magazine with Dr. Fager on the cover (painting by Richard Stone Reeves), as the Top Sire of 1977, with his offspring earning almost .6M that year.  He was Horse of the Year in 1968 and stood at Tartan Farms, Florida until his death in 1976.
    There are good articles about Ancient Title's and Run Dusty Run's recent wins, and on the inner back cover is an ad for Greentree Stud, where Tom Fool (Horse of the Year in 1953) had stood before his death in 1976.
    The magazine is in what I would term excellent condition, with few imperfections.  Please see all photos for best idea.  Thanks for your interest.
